Loan readiness check

Tick what's true for your business. In two minutes you'll know how ready you are and what to sort first.

The short answer

Lenders move fastest when you can show recent bank statements, know your NZBN and loan purpose, have a clear repayment plan, and are up to date with IRD filing. Tick the items that are true for you to get a readiness score and a short list of what to sort before you apply.

Why readiness matters

Most delays in business lending aren't declines. They're waiting for a statement, an ID or an answer to "what's it for?". Having those ready can turn a week into a day. Our business loan application checklist and requirements guide go into each item.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What documents do I need for a business loan in NZ?

For unsecured and cash flow loans, lenders usually want recent business bank statements, ID for directors and basic business details such as your NZBN. Larger loans may need accounts. For LoansOne's fast 1st and 2nd mortgages, no cash flow or financial records are needed, as the focus is the property.

What if my accounts are behind?

You can still get funded. Low doc and property-backed options don't rely on up-to-date annual accounts, and bank statements often tell lenders what they need. Tell us up front and we'll match you to a lender that works that way.

Does a low score mean I'll be declined?

No. The checklist shows how smooth your application is likely to be, not whether you'll be approved. Every LoansOne application is reviewed by a real person on its circumstances.
